Doctors & Nurses

Father God,

We are heirs of great advances in science and medicine. Thank You for those whose diligent inquiry and intellectual commitment have helped us understand ourselves and our world. We ask that You would encourage and protect our doctors and nurses as they work to heal and save. Guard them from sickness, injury, weariness, and discouragement. Provide the equipment, facilities, and treatments they need to do their work with diligence. Help them balance their others-centered work with their own needs. Cause them to trust in You, the Giver and Sustainer of life, and use them to make many well.
