First Responders

Father,

You have greatly blessed our nation. Thank You for the complex and stable infrastructure that enables our first response system. Thank You for each police officer, paramedic, firefighter, and life guard, whose everyday jobs require them to be brave. Surround them with Your protection and abundant provision. Cause the trauma that they experience to pull them towards You. Protect their minds from the accumulation of critical incident stress, and protect their families from fear. Help us live in appreciation by cooperating and doing our part. Grant them success in their efforts to save life and property, and bless them with peace.
